Hotel Poseidon Playa - Benidorm

The hotel provides a good service.

Everything was very good, it had premium wifi, nothing to complain about. The room was large and neat, the bathroom was really great. The pool was amazing and I had soft drinks in the pool bar. The hotel was just minutes away from the beach and a super close walk to Terra Mitica Amusement Park. You could walk to a small shop and shops.

The hotel food was very good with a wide choice. The dining room staff were very efficient, always clearing away used plates etc whilst you were getting your next course. There were plenty of sunbeds in the pool vicinity and the floor area of that location was clean and litter free. The pool itself was also clean and of sufficient size to cope with demand during our stay.

There appeared to be only 4 lifts and with 17 floors to serve, you could wait for a considerable time for access to one at busy times such as breakfast. Due to the location, parking space was very limited as was dropping off and pick-up area. Whilst we did not object to paying a deposit on the beach towels, we felt that a daily charge was excessive.

Fantastic and fairly clean place offers great breakfast and fantastic location specially in the restaurant area...

It was my 65th birthday surprise from my partner,my sister was also there,unbeknown to me,that was a surprise!! We stayed for 3 nights and had a really pleasant time.we have stayed at the hotel poseidon playa some years ago and had a great time then.would recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday.

Lovely pool area, fine sea views, fun pool activities

The location is inconvenient with the nearest restaurants primarily being Spanish and the long walk to the old town. Taxis became a necessity!!! The evening entertainment's appeal seems limited to older guests.

As all-inclusive guests, we felt there was an element of segregation when requesting a drink at the Hotel bar. A better system should be incorporated whereby all customers were made to feel equal. We appreciated that local drinks were included in the cost however, the glasses used to serve the drinks were not the usual type one would expect to be offered.

The view from all the rooms is absolutely fantastic.Hotel staff very helpful, the hotel was for me in an ideal position. A very relaxing hotel.

A peaceful retreat by the sea

We arrived to a fine view of the ocean every morning. The staff were cute. The evenings felt alive with entertainment by the pool, and the food was a delight!

I booked this hotel because it advertised that it had parking.....when we arrived we wre told the hotel carpark was full ( I think the car park held about 20 cars therefore was not suitable for a hotel of that size ) and we had to park up a very steep hill and a bit away from the hotel. For a basic hotel it was adequate but the lifts were not sufficient for the size of hotel.

This hotel is not suitable for english It is full of very rude spanish pensioners. Only four lifts, chaos. Had to use stairs.

The food lacked proper labeling, challenging to identify what I was eating. For instance, the scrambled eggs came with ham, which I dislike, and some dishes were mislabeled, leaving me bewildered about my choices.

The position of the Poseidon Playa on the beach is excellent. Just 15mins walk into the Old Town. Very friendly staff and the rooms are excellent for the price. Will def. stay at the Poseidon Playa again on my next long weekend in Benidorm.

there was no entertainment, only dancing.

Location is fantastic, right across from a beautiful beach. The staff were friendly and helpful. Small rooms and noise between them could be an issue. Activities like table tennis and billiards kept us entertained. Food at the buffet varied, but some items were not appealing.
